After the closure of the New City Club in 1880, Cornhill Lodge moved to the King’s Head (later the London Tavern), Fenchurch Street. Subsequent moves were many:

  • Grand Hotel, Charing Cross; February 1927 – 8 months;

  • Piccadilly Hotel, Piccadilly; 8th February 1937 – 3 years;
  • Criterion Restaurant, Piccadilly; 8th April 1940 – 3 years;
  • Freemasons Hall, Great Queen Street; 21st June 1943 – 3 years;
  • Talbot Restaurant, London Wall; 22nd October 1946 – 5 years;
  • Holborn Restaurant, Holborn; 23rd October 1951 – 3 years;
  • Charing Cross Hotel, Strand; 5th October 1954 – 7 years;
